Relax. We’ve got your back. Explore our FAQs concerning skip hire below.

Auckland traffic can be unpredictable and that’s why we can’t guarantee the time of day we deliver/collect your bin. With endless, what you see is what you get. This means that there are no hidden clauses about delivery/collection days not being included in the rental, which would eat into your number of rental days. With endless you always you get what you pay for, nothing less!

Auckland traffic can be unpredictable and that’s why we can’t guarantee the time of day we deliver your bin. To make sure we are able to meet your expectations, we rent our bins out per night. This means that you aren’t charged for the day of delivery or the day of collection.

So if you are looking for a morning delivery, we recommend booking your delivery for the night prior. That way you’ll be set to go first thing the following morning and won’t lose out on any of your rental nights.

We would be happy to place your Endless skip bin on the berm, provided that you have permission from council. You will need to apply on the AT website for a Non-Excavation Corridor Access Request (NECAR). Make sure you give yourself enough time for council to review and approve your permit. The AT website advises that you apply at least 15 working days before you would like the bin placed. For more info on applying for a NECAR, visit https://at.govt.nz/about-us/working-on-the-road/corridor-access-requests/apply-for-a-necar/.

We don’t recommend that you place your bin on the berm as often members of the public throw their waste in skips placed outside a property. Even if you have enough room in your skip bin, you may become liable for penalties incurred for prohibited items placed in your skip.

We will always try our best to accommodate your bin placement requests, but we can’t make any guarantees. This is because our skilled drivers need to take a few things into account when placing your bin to ensure that we can safely place and remove it, and to avoid any damage to property. During the winter months, we avoid placing bins on grassy surfaces as once the bin is full it becomes much heavier and can sink into the mud – not quite the lawn ornament you were after?!

We make it easy and classify your rubbish as general waste, green waste or hard fill.

General waste includes household and office clear-outs, light domestic and business waste, furniture, doors, mattresses, DIY Waste (not hard fill). Green waste can be mixed in with general waste.

Green waste includes grass, trimmings, small branches, leaves, weeds, bark, cuttings, general green organic waste. Green waste can be mixed with general waste.

Hard fill includes rock, brick, clay, concrete, tiles, soil, stone and it can’t be mixed with other waste types.

Yes you can, throw it all in and we’ll take care of it.

We advise strongly against this as the entire contents of your skip bin will get weighed as general waste and you will most likely incur some hefty fees… and who wants that right?!

We want to make sure that we keep everyone safe and some items pose a risk to our team or incur hefty fees, so please don’t sneak any of these things into your endless bin:

  • Hazardous materials of any nature
  • Asbestos
  • Paint, liquids, oils and chemicals
  • Aerosols
  • Gas tanks
  • Clinical / Medical waste
  • Dead Animals
  • Fluorescent Tubes
  • Television sets, monitors, printers and other e-waste
  • Rechargeable batteries, lithium ion batteries and hybrid batteries
  • Polystyrene
  • Tyres
  • Food Waste

For info on how to responsibly dispose of these items, please visit https://www.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/rubbish-recycling/Pages/default.aspx

Overfilled bins are a health and safety hazard as items could fly off the top while the bin is being transported. To keep our roads safe (and to ensure we are in keeping within the law), please make sure you only fill the bin to the lip or we won’t be able to remove it.

We also have weight restrictions on our bins, depending on the type of waste and the size of bin. If you go over the weight limit, we’ll still be able to take your bin away safely but we’ll have to pass on the extra charges we incur for the additional waste.

3m bin
Waste types allowed:
General Rubbish: 500Kgs
Green Waste: 500Kgs
Hard Fill: Unlimited
9m bin v3
Waste types allowed:
General Rubbish: 1500Kgs
Green Waste: 1500Kgs
Hard Fill: Not Permitted
30m bin
Waste types allowed:

Green Waste: 4500Kgs

No, you don’t need to be at home for delivery and collection. Please leave detailed instructions when you make your booking so that our team can access the site easily and safely. We love furry friends and we want to make sure yours are safe, so please keep your pets locked away on the day of delivery and collection.

We have flexible options to suit your needs – our skip bin rentals can be arranged for three nights, six nights or more nights (up to two weeks). If you are looking for a longer term rental, flick us a mail at bins@endless.co.nz or call us on 0800 249 854.

We’ve made booking a bin easy as. When you book your bin online, just enter your credit or debit card details (on our secure server) and it’s a done deal. If you prefer to make your booking via phone, just give us a call on 0800 249 854 and we’ll make it happen.

Your driveway needs to be at least 3m wide with a height clearance of 4m. Please also make sure there are no low hanging branches or other obstructions across the driveway. We can only place your bin on a cleared, flat piece of ground and our equipment doesn’t allow us to safely lower your bin over fences or obstacles. Bins are not permitted on the road or on footpaths (unless a permit from the council is obtained), so the road outside your property is a no-go.

Please don’t… our experienced crew always place the bin in a position that is both safe and suitable for delivery and collection. It might be tempting to move it a little closer to where your waste is being stored so you don’t have to carry too far, but we can’t collect a bin that has been moved. To save yourself from having to unload your bin, move it back and then reload the bin – keep that bin put.

Your debit/credit card will be charged with the amount displayed at the checkout and you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order and a receipt of payment.

Please let us know as early as possible if you need to make any changes to your booking. Call us on 0800 249 854 or email bookings@endless.co.nz and we will do our level best to accommodate you.

Feel free to read our T’s and C’s if you’re looking for more info, or call us on 0800 249 854 to get the best advice.
