Commercial Scrap

If you have metal on your commercial/industrial site and you want to get the best value for it, we are here to help.

Some of the commercial/industrial scrap that we commonly receive includes:

  • Shavings
  • Clippings
  • Punchings
  • Sheeting
  • Pipes
  • Plates
  • Rods
  • Forgings
  • Tubing
  • Rebar
  • Cuttings/offcuts
  • Coils
  • Valves
  • Boilers
  • Machinery bearings
  • Machinery parts
  • Heavy machinery

Do you have an item that you would like to recycle that’s not on this list? Don’t be discouraged – if it’s metal, we will almost always accept your items for recycling. We have a few exceptions due to health and safety considerations, and are unable to accept pressurized containers, hazardous, corrosive, explosive or radioactive items. If you’re still not sure, let us help you.

Still have questions?

Relax. We’ve got your back.

If you haven’t sold your scrap metal to Endless Metals before, we recommend that we visit your site to determine your material grades, establish the best process for removal (bins / specialised transport / delivery to the site), and to offer an indication of value based on the current market. For our ongoing industrial customers, price lists are provided on a regular basis to ensure our pricing always reflects local and global markets and that our customers get the best possible value relative to the current market. You can choose to receive spot pricing or to have your pricing linked to a global index. To find out more about our pricing, please email us at hello@endless.co.nz or call us on 0800 44 88 99.

We are flexible when it comes to payment methods and frequency to ensure you get paid as required. Payment can be made on the spot if required, overnight on a daily basis, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. You can let us know your payment preferences when you are setting up your account.

There are many ways in which we can manage the removal of your commercial scrap metal from your site:

  • You are welcome to deliver to one of our scrap metal yard locations.
  • We can place a bin/s on your site, which we will collect and exchange for an empty bin when required.
  • We offer specialised transport solutions for larger items.

If you’d like to arrange bin services or specialised transport for your commercial site, please email hello@endless.co.nz or call 0800 44 88 99.

Whether you’re scrapping a little or scrapping a lot, we have the right bin for you! We supply a range of drums, small square bins, 4.5m3 gantry bins, 9m3 gantry bins, 30m3 hook bins – and everything in between. Once we understand your requirements, we can recommend the best solution for you. If you’d like to arrange a bin for your commercial site, please email hello@endless.co.nz or call 0800 44 88 99.

The short answer is no. We will need to pop in for a quick (free) assessment to ensure that we are delivering the best solution for you before placing a free bin/s on your site. To book your assessment, please email us at hello@endless.co.nz or call 0800 44 88 99.

Ideally your bin should be exchanged every 4-6 weeks. If you require longer than this to fill your bin, please email us at hello@endless.co.nz or call 0800 44 88 99 as we may have a more suitable alternative for moving your scrap metal off site.

Yes, we have craneable bins in both 4.5m3 and 9m3. To find out more about how we can supply and service you with our craneable bins, please email hello@endless.co.nz or call 0800 44 88 99.

To get the most money back for your metal, we recommend that you separate your different metals. We do understand there are times where this isn’t possible or practical, and the team in the yard will do their best to separate commodities on your behalf if this is the case. In this scenario, additional processing time is taken into account and is reflected in the pricing.

When we collect your scrap metal from site, we incur costs based on the type of truck required and/or the location of the collection. We can either factor these transport costs into the price (“collected price”) or we can pay you a “delivered price” (based on you delivering your material to our yard, which excludes any transport costs). For a delivered price, the cost of transport will be shown as a separate line item (“freight”) which can be offset against the total value of your scrap metal.

While we only have scrap metal yards in Auckland, we have a strong dealership network nationwide which enables us to service customers throughout New Zealand. To find out more, please email us at hello@endless.co.nz or call us on 0800 44 88 99.
