This distinction signifies that we have exceptional health and safety systems in place, and it is highly valued by our clients, partners, and contractors. Achieving Gold status requires scoring 90% or higher in an annual SiteWise health and safety assessment, a rigorous process conducted by qualified practitioners.
The assessment covers key areas such as clear and up-to-date safety policies, proactive risk and hazard management, systematic incident reporting and investigation, robust training and competency checks, and strong employee and subcontractor engagement in safety practices. Importantly, it is not just about having the right policies on paper – we must also provide solid evidence that these policies are actively implemented, monitored, and improved upon in our day-to-day operations.
