We don’t do residential collections because the value of scrap metal from whiteware and other residential metal waste is usually much less than the cost of the transport and we don’t want to leave you out of pocket. If you aren’t able to deliver, please feel free to give us a call on 0800 44 88 99 and we will try our best to find a workable solution for you.

We sure are! No need to make an appointment – our friendly team is always on hand to help you offload, weigh and get paid for your metal. They’ll get you back on the road in two shakes of a lamb’s tail! Click here to get directions to your nearest public drive-thru.

No, we don’t charge anything.  And smiles come free with every drop-off ?

The short answer is yes… but not a heck of a lot. We buy these items as scrap and not for resale or reuse, and they contain mostly steel (which is a low-value metal) and plastic. By bringing it to us to recycle, you’ll be preventing it from going to landfill as well as saving the fee you would have to pay to tip it. If your fridge/washer/dryer is still working, you’re likely to get more for it by selling it on trademe.

We pay for scrap metal based on what type of metal it is, how much it weighs, and how much effort is required to sort and recycle it. To get a quote on how much you can get for your metal-containing items, please email pricing@endlessmetals.co.nz with a picture and short description.

If the item you want to recycle contains metal, chances are pretty good that you can bring it in and we’ll take care of it for you. We aren’t able to accept any items that are hazardous, corrosive, explosive or radioactive as they pose a health and safety risk. We also can’t accept pressurised containers, ewaste and any item that contains liquid and hasn’t been drained. For a list of places that do take these items, for Auckland click here.

We don’t accept wrecked cars but we do buy your scrap catalytic converters.

Our facility isn’t geared to safely accept e-waste at this stage. For a list of places that do take these items, for Auckland click here.

We would love to help you out, but we would love even more to keep our team safe. Once the metal arrives in our yard, our sorting process begins. We have a lot of heavy machinery and equipment operating in our yards and it’s a health and safety risk for our team to try and sort through our big bins and piles to pull out metal pieces for resale.

Know Before You Go

Please make sure that you bring your NZ driver’s licence or passport. One of the ways that we give back to the communities in which we operate is to ensure that we comply with industry regulations. As a licenced secondhand dealer, we are required by law to ask for your identification.
